Seven seasons, two series,
measured.
Every number on this site comes from one committed dataset: seven seasons, both series, every moto of every round. Nothing is scraped live, nothing is typed in by hand, and every figure links back to the round it came from.
Six questions
Lap chart
Where each rider actually was, lap by lap — both series, from 2020, Triple Crown rounds excepted.
Fade
How much a rider slows from the first half of a moto to the second, and which tracks punish it most.
Lap 1
Does the opening lap already decide the finishing order? Measured per moto, with its own coverage caveat.
Qualifying
What a fast qualifying lap is worth once the gate drops, and who races better than they qualify.
Titles
Championships scored from finishing positions using the standard points table, round by round.
Ratings
An Elo rating per class across all seven seasons, so a win over a deep field counts for more.
Coverage
Two sources, one shape. 2020–2024 is the AMA PDF archive; 2025–2026 is the LiveTime results site, which also prints a position on every lap.

How this is built
The dataset records what the timing sheets say. Where a sheet is internally odd — a lap time of 29:24 on a 30-minute moto, a “best lap” that does not appear in the lap list, a final lap printed as a summary — the value is kept and the anomaly is recorded as a warning. Nothing is smoothed, imputed, or filled in from another source.
Rebuilds are byte-identical: keys are sorted, floats are rounded, and no timestamps are stored. The gate separates parser errors (which fail the build) from source quirks (which are reported).
